The Best Is Yet To Come

I cannot describe how PROUD I am of Helen Rose.  She has done so much in her life that I never would have.  I can look back at all the disappointments in my life and think what if...  The real reason is because I never put myself out there.  I always thought about it but never did.  I just passed by, never trying, never going for it, never striving to reach goals.  And at some  point I just existed-stuck in the "what if cycle",  never extending myself.
Helen has always put herself out there, willing to gofor it.  But putting yourself out there also comes with the risk of disappointment.  That is where I failed.  I didn't risk it because I could not deal with failure.  It is easier to do the bare minimum - then you will not be disappointed.  I cannnot fathom the strength and courage it takes to risk disappointment and not winning.  Then have that same courage and strength to do it all again.  At these times she is 200% better than me at life.  The people who posess these characteristics will continue to succeed even when failing.  Richard Branson says that "to be successful you must know the pain and disappointment of failure many times.".
Helen--you make me the proudest Dad in the world.  I know that your hurt right now seems to be inconsolable.  As a father I want o take away the pain, but I can't. Tomorrow will be better and the day after even better.  Continue to strive to reach your endeavors, live your dreams always.
Love Dad

Celebration Golf, Orlando

Celebration, the city within the city. Celebration boasts one of he best living areas in Orlando, but today we are interested in the golf, also one of the best in the city, and the best value.  The course is laid out to challenge every level golfer.  I played the silver.  The fairways are in immaculate shape with the rough being Orlando length, a little longer, thick and very tough to get out of, especially after a little rain.  The greens, well lets just say, yea don't even try to read them my advice, just roll it straight-you will be better off.  Second tee was my favorite, you blindly hit over a gully swamp and hope you have a good lie, or at least made it over. The best rates we came across on our three day adventure too.  $100 gets you a round, with a bucket of range balls and lunch.  We paid $30 extra which got us as many holes as we could play that day.  Fantastic value and lots of fun. Enjoy...

Lake Buena Vista Golf, Disney, Orlando.

Just a gorgeous golf course.  Disney does it best.  Immaculate, friendly awe inspiring holes
Each hole presents its own difficulties, but again play the tees you should, otherwise you will not have  great day.
The biggest issue is the price, at $130 you would expect to include a bucket of balls, lunch, a snack something, but nooo.
There are other courses for less money or more ammenities.  If the thrill is to play a Disney course I would suggest the 9 hole Oak Trail.
Either way, if money is no object this is a great course.

Falcon Fire, Orlando

Falcon Fire is a tremendous value.  The course is in immaculate shape, the staff is friendly and attentive.
Play the tees you should, do not try and be something you are not.  You can get into steep trouble if you try and play the back tees when your game calls for front.  Many people who complain about a course are usually not playing the game they should.  The helicopter tours are a distraction, but does not take away from the course.  Try the grill for lunch too.
At $75 a round a very good price for Orlando.
