Very simple, tonights wine is the house wine of the Marriott Rome. It is free, what else can I say. Lungarotti Cadetto rosso and bianco from Umbria.
The rosso is decent. Light, elegant easy drinking. The nose is raisiny, giving you the feel that the wine is going to be rich and hearty. Nope. But its free and drinkable.
The white has a full citrus nose. It does not dissappoint. Elegant, fruity with a longer finish. Notes of lemon, full citrus. Hints of tree fruit, apple and pear. The best of the two.
I would definitely have agaim especially since they are free.
