We started out the day at Ch Dalem. The winemaker is Bridget the third generation. They make Ch Dalem wines and Ch Huste. A wonderful start to the day. All of the wines were fabulous. Mostly merlot with slight hints of cabernet and cab franc. All organic wines with a focus on bio sustainable . The wines were all rich with depth and structure. The Huste are drinkable today, Dalem are drinkable today but can easily be cellared a few years. soft delicate velvety tannins and a ripe floral nose. The estate ground are also beautiful as you can see. The chateau dated back nearly 300 years. A best value wine.
