Durfort

Tonight each family member featured their chateau.  Ch Haut Bages Liberal Pauillac, Ch Camarsac Bordeaux Superior, Ch Duplesis Moulos en Medoc, Ch Dufort Vivens Margaux, Ch Domeyne St Esteph, Ch La Tour de Bessan Margaux, Ch Climens Barsac.  Each Ch featured at least 2 sometimes 3 of their wines with multiple vintages.  All of the wines were very good.  Too many to feature them all here. I will note only 2 highest scores from my notes. Camarsac Blanc. A dry crisp fruity  Sauv Blanc with depth and structure.  Also the la Tour dr Bessan Margaux. A very well balanced wine, rich and elegant but yet soft and approachable.  All of the wines as I said were good, but these 2  received my highest score even if only by one point.  After sampling the wines we were treated to roasted lamb dinner. A delightful treat
